E.P.P. 042 LONGWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT ENFORCEMENT POLICY & PROCEDURE NUMBER: EPP – 42 SUBJECT: STATION MAINTENANCE EFFECTIVE: DECEMBER 12, 2001 REVISED: MARCH 31, 2023 ENFORCEMENT POLICY AND PROCEDURE STATION MAINTENANCE EPP – 42 Page 1 of 2 I. PURPOSE The purpose of this directive is to ensure that all systems within the Police facility are operational, clean and orderly. II. INSPECTIONS The on-coming patrol supervisor shall be responsible for the inspection of the facility at the beginning of each tour of duty, and to ensure the facility conforms to the standard set forth in Section I. III. SCOPE OF INSPECTION The inspection of the facility will include but is not limited to the following areas: A. Report writing area; B. Locker Room; C. Break Room; D. Copy machine and Fax machine areas; E. Training Room; F. Sallyport; G. Vehicle service area; and H. Evidence locker area. ENFORCEMENT POLICY AND PROCEDURE STATION MAINTENANCE EPP – 42 Page 2 of 2 IV. ACTION If any problems are discovered during the course of the inspection, the patrol supervisor will take action to resolve the problems. Any situation that can not be resolved immediately will be documented and turned over to the Administrative Support Lieutenant for further action.
