Public hearings were held October 29, 1913, on the ques ti0n of allowi n9 a convenience
store in the B-I zone on SR 434.

Present: All ucOUnci1 Members, Mayor 8 City AttO rney. Meeting called to order by the
chairman.
Notices of the hearings were posted in the proper places, as stated by tM1e City Clerk.
Mr. Eddie Bannas spoke in favor of the request. Mr. Ferrell requested Mr. Shubert be

The Attorney requested co ncil allow him time to review the tlo cumentsuin ques ti0nr before
making a ruling on the matter. Meanwhile the public hearing should be continued.
Motion by Mr. Helms seconded by Mr. Crenshaw to continue the public heart n9 until Nov.
12th. Motion ca Tied.
Mr. Sett g, from Cumberland Farms sppke in behalf of the request to permit a concenien ce
store 8 4 rental spaces in the building On SR 434.
Motion by Mr. Crenshaw to grant the special exception in the B-1 zone for 2400 ft. of
floor space to be used far Cumberland Fanns Oai ry sto re. (Con vent ence store)
Motion died for lack of a cond.
Motion by Mr. Ferrell seconded by Mr. Will iamsOn to continue the matter until November 12th.
Motion carried.
A letter from Mr. A7 Btp rte withdrawing hiz request t0 be an exed into the City at tM1e
present time wa read by the Lity L1 erk. The letter stated that Mr. Stol to would resubmit
his request at a later date.
Motion by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Het mz to permit the request to be withdrawn 8
the public hearing be cancelled. Motion carried.

The regular sessipn of the Longwood City Council was all ed to order at 8:15 p. m.
following the public hearing, by Council Lhai noon William J. Kl osky.

Meeting opened with prayer by Mayor Jaques followed by Salute to the Flag.

Auto supply in the amount of 615.03. Mr. Crenshaw, Helms, Fe rreil, Klosky yes.

The resignation of Mr. Oon old Schreiner from the Eon ing board, effective October 29th.
