The ohair called a regular meeting to oNx at ].11 p. m.

Mr Zappitello informed members that the YMCA summer camp started June I_I999, and
would run ]a.m. to fip.m., Monday through I^tiday, until July 1.1999.

4. NEW BUSINESS:
The manager of Dance Dynamic's was trying to get enough insurance so the city would
oneider approving a dance and tumbling elnss to be run in the evwting after the YMCA is
finished. Dance Dynanvc's would also like to have a cheerleading class in August.
Field k Z at Candyland Park will be getting some renovations soon. Lip between infield
end outfielA will be taken out.
A gcntlwnan who has an agnipmont company in Winter Hevmt will supply machinery and
labor end Park's will supply the clay. Workers will be asked to help.
A representative [ om the Gabe Ruth League would like to see warning tracks put on
fields. and thought the gentleman from Winter liaveat might be able to do it at the same time the
other work was being done.
if Mr. Zeppitello purchase4 a large quantity of Plastic Piping to place outside the field

Member McCoy asked about getting the f ,cing wither stretched or replaced.
Mr. Zeppitello rold him Debbie Relko had looked lino it and has made a recommendmion
for next year's budget. He also mentioned bleaehera Cor next year.
Member Anderson told how he lives on a lake end irks to keep it picked up and clean but
would like to see signs saying no alcoholic beverages allowed.
Mr. Zeppitello said he would ask Public Works if they could post some signs.
Member Breckmt asked if a sign could be posted at Candyland Park at the entrance saying
no exit so that eventually they would not leave by that way.
Membu Huttner announced she would no longu serve es Chairperson and requested e
w chair be selecmd. Member 6mckon nominated Dan McCoy, Member Huttner seconded the
nommano ,approved 4-03-, with members Hams. Kane and Powhida absent.
Member McCoy asked Itow widely enforced was the helmet Iaw_
Member Anderson said the police t'orce was doing a grest job keepinK on top of it.
Member Andotson asked about having a fund raiser for the Teen Center. Thought they
could do bicycle -Rodeo and safety awareness day and maybe sell hot dogs and soda and make a
fun day o(it. They could also have the teens Paint the comes with soma murals ifthe owner
doean t mind, it'tha cantor needs palming.
Member 6rackon also suggested having aNlekelodeon Day_
Mr. "I.appitello said he hopes to have a couple of people to help him next year instead of
having the YMCA come in so that ha can set up a teen camp like Altamonte Springs did this year
and taught a `g3asie Lik Skills" program such as cheek writing etc.
