He then recognized Mrs. Sally Sherman and read a CC 01-I7-05/13 proclamation which highlighted her educational background, voluntary emberships i any ci and sated she w s the Deputy County Mevager for Seminole CounlynsMrs. Sharman was then presented with the Dr. Manin Luther King, Ir. Good Citizenship Award for 2005. Photographs' were then taken. Mrs. Sherman ihaNced the City Commission and stated she was humbled and honored by their recognition. Sfie wanted to remind everyone that Dr. King worked for veryon and said she keeps that legacy close to her and it helps her live the dream. H. Deputy Mayor Maingot recognized Mr Errol lohnson and read a proclamation which highlighted his educational background, career. and voluntary membershipsi anyci s. Mr. lohnson was then presented with the Dr. Martin LuthercK9ngcJr~IGood Citizenship Award for 2005. Photographs were then taken. Mr. lohnson stated it was a great honor to receive this award. He said Or. Martin Luther King is one ofhis hero's and one ofthe purple that he respects most in life. tle thanked the City Commission for electing him to receive this award. C. Rpnald S'mokins, 81 y East Orange Avenue, said he and his parents have lives in Longwood since 1950. He made a presentation to Mayor Bundy and Commissioner Hoh for their act of kindness toward his parents during the aftermath of Hurzicane Charley. They provided his parents with a generator which al lowed them to nay in their home. He then presented them with a tarter fiom Governor Duch thanking them for their assistance and kindness. '/.
