r. CALL TO ORDER. Mayor Dundy nailed the meeting to order et 8:0'1 a. m.
2. BUSINESS.
A. Disc ss prepnranons for Hurrrcane Frances.
Mayor Bondy stated this meeting was called to review prepaza[ions Por
Hurricane Frances. He said city staff has been working very hard. He
advised he had been receiving rolls from concerned residents.
Mc Drago advised Grubbs Tree Service moved their equipment out due to

Commissioner Maingot inquired about wn[ac[ with healthcare facilities.
Chief Chapman advised they make contact with these facilities and check
their disaster plans. He advised the EMS system has a special needs list
that people register. If needed, these people are moved into special needs
shapers.
Discussion was held regarding encouraging people to go to shelters.
Ms. Mijares advised she would update the wntact list previousty
distributed.
Mr_ Mil(er reituated that all wnstruction sites were vieited by [he
Building Official end advised to secure their areas.
Discussion was held regarding the availability of gasoline.
Discussion was held regarding pet-6iendly shelters.
Discussion was held regarding using the parking lot at Hig Lots as a
distribution center.
Commissioner Holt inquired if Administration would be calling the
Commission with updates during the event.
Discussion was held regarding the cel I phones being down.
Chief Chapman suggested setting up a voice mail box far the
Commissioners to call for updates.
Mr. Drago advised the number For this vome mail, once it is s r up, would
be provided to the Commission.
Mayor Bundy suggested having a list ofwhere supplies would be
available.

Chief Chapman said he would provide Mr_ Drago with an updated
distribution Iiet so it can be placed on the city webpage.
Discussion ensued regarding debris removal.
Mayor Bundy re ated residems were being asked not to place any
fi~rther debris om until the storm pasees ~hrough_
