The mayor called a work session to order at ]'.00 p.m. Commissioner Bundy requested to suspend the rules. Secontled by Deputy Mayor Maingot and request concurred with by those members present. 2. During discussion of this issue, Mr. Hattaway explained that in certain mstances adjoining property owners might welcome light [o be shinning on their property from an adjacent property. Ms. Easley suggested --and the Commission concurretl --that text should be added m the effect "that if adjacent property wan[edlor did not mind, a joint lighting plan for the two properties could be submi[tetl"; it was also suggested that this be atldressetl in the Procedures section. 5.5.6 Bed and Breakfast Establishments Ms. Easley requested additional tlirection from the Clty Commission regarding betl antl breakfast astablishments. Commission discussion surrountling betl and breakfast establishments produced cohesion among the members relative to the adtlitional direction Ms. Easley requested: that esidential-type structures these could be between four (4) to six (6) bedroom with a limit of no more than two (2) establishments antler the ownership of one individual and helshe woultl need to occupy one or the other of these two establishments. Atlditionally, bed and breakfast establishments should primarily be within the Historic District -the intent was that these establishments be charming and be with the Design Standards of the Historic Distr ctu Park ng needed [o be addressed. In the Corridor District, one owner may have between five (5) and six (6) establishments and be in concurrence with Design Standards for the Corridor District. 5.5.]Atlult Entertainment Establishments The Commission atldressetl 5.5.] -noting that Federal law tlictates to all Ci[y governmental entities, that this type establishment have certain "rights" antl the city must be in CC g6-11-61\t3R ompliance with those Federal dictates; however, the City can, itself, mandate certain requirements on behalf of its citizens, those being: requiring [hose establishments meet certain appearance standards, that they cannot locate in Corridor Districts as well as no[ being allowed to advertise within Corridor Districts. Relative to the single map concept, the Commission cognized that the separation of adult establishments from [he Corridors and Residential Districts as well as other adult entertainment establishments was an issue to be addressed and Planning stall was directed to review this in order fo assure no loss of available sites. Definitions. 5,6.2, Purpose. 5.6.3 Applicability, 5.6.4 Location and Permitted Uses, 5.6.5 Development Plan Required. antl 5.6.6 Performance Standards --under advisement. Commission directed Ms. Easley to take the Maser Plan approach, provide a map designating selection sites where towers could be located based on distance, and add language to increase the setback distance requirement in [he Gorritlor Districts to 125 feet. Me_ Taylor stated he woultl tooter with the Florltla League of Cities as to legalities of permining Yawers on specific sites only. The Commission requested Ms. Easley coordinate language with the City Attorney relative to this issue. The Commission recessed 8:35 p.m. and reconvened at 848 p. m. ARTICLE III-DEVELOPMENT DESIGN STANDARDS 3.5.0 BUFFER AND LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS (1) Ravlaed Buffer Graphics- Bu(fera A.
