1. Mayor Heuson called a work session to order at 6:00 p.m.
Z REVIEW PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO.94-1208,AMENDING CIiAPTER 3.5
AMUSEMENTS AND ENTERTAINMENT, ARTICLE II, NUDE
ENTERTAINMENT, OF TtdE CODE OF ORDINANCES, IN ITS ENTIRETY,
ETC.
Mr. Taylor refv~red to the revisions to page 32 and page 36 which he had propared and
distributed to the Commissiam
The Commission discussed whether We Ciy Commission should hear nppeaLS or whether
they should go m the Circuit Court, and it was the consensus of the Commission that
appeals should go to the Circuit Court.

page 36. Mr. Taylor said he believed one of the appeal sectons could be deleted.
Mr. Taylor said he had lalkecl with Mr Cocehiarella, the attorney for the MBI, end he

be subjem to ell regulauovs o[ Ore new ordinance. Naas annexed, Mr_ Taylor saiq would
be subject to the laws of the City.
Mayor Benson said she would like the ordinance indexed. Mr. Taylor agreed to do an
index.
The Comn n agreed to meet with Mr. Cocchiarelle at a work session ou December 12,
1994 at 6:OOsp m.
Mr. Tayler said all references eo the Deputy Clerk, Clerk, em. would be chavged to Office
of We City Clerk.
Nadine Toles said she felt the erdinznec should vlearly define the violations and what
ouI<I be followed; i.e., would the violation be heard by Codes Enforcement Board
o~ would the penalty in the Adult Entenamment Code apply.
Mayor Benson read seotion 3.5-35 in espouse to Ms Tolos wmmcnts.
Nadine solos suggested mi impact fee be imposed due to the need for zddirional police.

3. REVIEW P12OCEDURES FOR BOARD APPOIMMENTS.
Mayor Benmv referred tc listing of Code reterenoes regarding Board appointmevtsthat had
bean provided. After n discussion with regard to the provedures for appointmems to Ciry
boards, it was the consensus of the Commission that an ordinance be drafted to amend the
City Code as follows: appoinlmunts made due to z vzcevcy should be Eor the remainder of
~ the unexpired term; the end of a to m should be on the last day of the month the
appoinvnent was made; that Article VI on page I55~15G oY the Code be corrected eo slice
