Mr. Charles Heffner, I6o3 Meadowlark S[. Pir. Heffner advised the City Comni ssio that the Skylark Plant was leeching effluent front the ponds in approximately three different ar and asked that son action be taken. Mr. Heffner also requested that a sidewalk be installed from the Skylark Subdivision, on the east side of Grant Street, to Longdale as pedestrians and, m inly the children, have safe access along Grant Street. i~ir. Heffner also asked the Conmission to rect the traffic and parking probl mis in and around the Past Office. He stated there is nsuff i ci ant parking for the Past Office, a well as difficulty n getting in and out of the parking lot, which ca es people to drive ac private property, namely the Little Di x'ie Piarket, to avoid the traffic siynal. Ne stated better routiu9 and lack of traffic controls w needed. Mayor Gunter as ketl Mr. Terry to meet with the Past Master and Police Department to resolve the problems cited. Mr. Ed Myers, 1623 hunt Rd., referenced Agenda Item 11. and stated he believed the City had offered t0 purchase Mr. Bernard's property a few years back. Ms. Mary Voel ki ng, Chairman of the City Lhri stmas Parade, furnished the Lommi ss ion with a suggested budget for the Christmas Parade and stated the Comm~i ttee wouitl like to be able to appiY [o the City for fundi nq for the Parade. 14.
