tFat a nemicipal sign was permitted m City property and Me. Chacey said the sign would
solve the problan ae the lease cost eo the City. Camdssimer Pappas said he k:ad talked
with residents of the area and two did rmt object to a sips and three did. Commissioner
Pappas said he thought the Ciry should pug W a sign because he thouy}rt the City mould be
liable for punitive damages if sareone was inj~n-ed because of the glaze fran the lights.

solve the problan. Reg Sigiron, Reaeaeion Direcmr, said the probl®: is ransed by the

poles of 60 to 70 feet, it could cost 10 to 12 thwsand dollars. Mr. Cnacey suggested
that if the sign was offensive to the residents, tk~e City should build a fence.
