Mayor Hepp called the meeting to order and explained the purpose of workshop.
1. Mayor ttepp suggested that the Commission r the proposed changes t
ordinances governing billboards and fixed signsVS there did n o
be any objections t that portion. Uskert suggested thaptpt e
distance between billboards w sufficienteand suggested that it be h
sed. epp and Commissioners Grant and Lormann stated that they
ddrnot object to the present 500 feet.
2. Chacey briefed the C emporary signs and r ended

the ordinance un 1 it w 1nChaceyasaidsheohad w n
Commissioners a letter recommending thatspermitt £ees for temporary signste
be increased.
3. After a lengthy di scusaion with members of the temporary sign c ity
and M rry K their a ney, the Commission agreed to make then
following change s~to Ordinan ce t529:
That temporary signs would be pe fed in for a period of 60 days
and then would be required to be removed for a period of fi0 days.

storage fee forosigns. '
That the fee charged for temporary s would be increased to
$10.00 per mont with a mrnrmum fee of $20.OOgns

ex ptron in any one two hundreg feet area.
