1. Mayor Hepp called the rteecing Co order. Mr. Art 8imrons, Real Estate Maeager,
and Mx. Tan Etisbee, staff, of Peterson Outdoor Advertising Corp., were presort.

ord Mr. Simons said that revenue would be reduced if sib were unlighted. Mr. Simron

agreed that they did not have the authority to grant such a variance. Cmmissioner
O'Leary asked if the Ciry could not prohibit lights an the billboaztl in £ronC o£ Wins
Manor since the lights mould be a nuisance and interfere with residmes of Winsor Manor.

Mr. Rooks said that the Suprere Crnax Fas ruled Htat billboard care be outlawed in esidmrcial
as hue this parciculaz case is different. Mr. Rooks r nmrnded agafnst cancelling any
peeradts already issued because is mould involve lengthy and costly court cases.
