Council.

Mr. Browning presented co cil menbers with copies of general revenue sources
also expenditures of the va us departments.

The proposed budget was explained by Mr. Browni n9. Motion by Mr. Crenshaw seconded
by Mr. Helms to accept the budget as outlined in Exhibit A,B ,L, also to set the
Mil loge at 3.68 Mills.

Special Session, September ], 19]3
A Special Session of the Longwood Cf ty Council was held September 7th. at ]:30
p. m. following the Public Hearing.
Present: Wm. J. Klas ky, B.L. Helms. Dick Crenshaw, B.N. Ferrell. Mayor Jaques,
City Attorney.
Absent: E.E. Williamson
Meeting opened with Drayer by Mayor Jaques, followed by Salute to the Flag.
1. Revenue Sharing Allocation: Motion by Mr. Ferrell s conded by Mr. Helms to
approve the expenditures as follows: $ 5,000.00 for Financial Administration,
$ 12.933.00 for Environmental Protection. Motion carried.
2. Letter from Glace & Radcliffe, Inc. Re: Sanford-Orlando Kennet Club pumping
station & farce Main. The letter stated the project had been reviewed 8 found to
be completely satisfactory. Plgti on by Mr. Helms seconded by Mr. Ferrell to accept
the plans as recanmended by the Engineer. Motion carried.
3. Letter from S.I.D. Devel opnient Corporation, Re: Fi nai fnspecti on of Winsor-
Manor 5/D. Motion by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. flel ms instructing the Engineer
to make a ff nal inspection of Wi nsor-Manor S/D, also to check the street lights.
Motion carried.
4. Letter from FAM Associates, Inc. -Re: Lake Searcy ShgresS/D. Motion by Mr.
Nelms seconded by Mr. Crenshaw to sf 9n the State Board of He lath forms covering
the water supD1Y system of the project. Motion carried.
5. Copy of a Resolution adopted by the Board o{ County [onmi zsioners, concerning
a joint City/County participation of Longwood/Markham Road. '
Motion by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Ferrell authorizing the Attorney to draft
a Resolution co ern ing joint Darti cipati on by City of Longwood & County Commissioners.

design of subsurface deai nage system, Lot 13 8 14, land Ave. Matter was referred
to the Mayor.

Council meeting. Mo[i on carried.
10. B.N. Ferrell a need that "o00Y Knob" hangers would no longer be placed on
delinquent water customers doors.
13. Motion by Mr, Crenshaw Seconded by Mr. Helms [o pay "Orla Vista" Volunteer
fir dept. $ 2,000. Motion carried.
12. Richard Mittl anon from Oevons hire 5/p stated that he objected to the ra
uncil's pay. Mr. Mi ttleman was invited to visft the Mayor to df scuss thestlu ties
of City Officials.
13. Motion by Mr. Helms seconded by Mr. Ferrell to change the meeting night of the
City Council fran Thursday to Monday NigM1 t, effective October 1, 1973, the meetf ngs
to be held the 2,3, & 4th. Monday's in each Month.

14. Motion by Mr. Nelms seconded by Mr. Ferrell to place Ordinance 4 338 on first
