Special Session, November 5, 19J3
A special meeting of the Longwood City Council was held following the work session
November 5, 19J3
Present: Wrn. J. Klo sky, Oi ck Crenshaw, B.L. Nelms, B.N. Ferrell, Mayor Je9ues.
Pbsent: E.E. Williamson
Meeting opened with prayer by Mayor Jaques, followed by Salute to the Fl a9.
Motion by Mr. Ferrell s conded by Mr. Helms to transfer $ 10,000.00 fran the Water
Fund into the General Fund, as a loan, to be repaid as soon as possible. Carried,
Motion by Mr. Ferrell seconded by Mr. Nelms to pay the approved bills. Motion carried,
ftesoi ution M 239 was read by the Mayor. Motion by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Nelms
to adopt Resolution k 239. (]O1 Grant) Motf on carried.
The agreement between the City of Longwood and Logan Browning was discussed. The
contract can be cancelled with 10 days notice to Mr. Browning. ,
Motion by Mr. Nelms seconded by Mr. Crenshaw authorizing the Mayor 8 City Clerk to
sign the agreement. Motf on carried.
Mott on by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Helms to re rind the motion made October 8th.
19J3, authorizing the Mayor to sign the contract with Mr. Donovan Oean of the
Environmental Group, on Dl ans for the Li ty Ha 71 Annex. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Helms to employ Mr. Jim Melton to udnit plans
for the Medical Bldg. to be used as the City Hali Complex, fee to be 5% of construct-i~
fOn costs. Mott on carried.
Motion by Mr. Helms seconded by Mr. Crenshaw to appoint Mr. Peter Piano to se on the
zoni n9 board, to fill the vacancy due to the resignation of Mr. Schreiner. Carried.
Motion by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Helms authorizing the Mayor to set in on the
zoni n9 board meetings with Seminole County, to represent the City of Longwood. Carried.

Mayor Jaques read a letter from Mr. [lark requesting a final inspection of Highland
Hills 5/D.
Motion by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Helms instructing the En9i neer to make a final
inspection of Highland Ni11s S/0.
Mr. Crenshaw. He imz, Ferrell voted yez. Mr. Kis oky voted no. Motion carried.
