The Longwood City Council net in regular session Thursday, December 28th at 7:30
P. M..
Present: Agnes Weber, Eugene Jaques, E.E. Williamson, Wm. Kl os ky, Oi ck Crenshaw,
& 5. Joseph Davis, City Attorney.
Absent: Mayor Kenneth N. brown, Jr.

Lo ryes pondence: letter from Albert Land, Land Engi neeri n9 okaying Sandl ewood S/D.
Jerry Rendel l: Bi 11 Klos kY made a motion seconded by Agnes Weber to approve the
Plat of Sandlewood 5/D. Motion carried.
Mr. Nervy 1. Turner, part owner with Dr. Grissom asked for 20 acre parcel of land
to be an exed ,and for R.M. zoning. Motion was made by Mr. Crenshaw and seconded
by Mrs. Weber to draft an Ordinance for R.M. zoning. Motion carried.
Mr. Ai Clark came before co n<fl stating that certain va es had been granted
him by the zoning board. uMr. Jaques stated that mi nu tesado not state any varf ances
as to sidewalks and curbs. Mr. Crenshaw made a motion seconded by Mr. Williamson
that Mr. Clark would have to abide by the Subdivision Ordinance. Motion carried.
A re nmendatf on wa made by Mr. Wf lliamson to table the matter of Mr. Fisher heading
up the water department until the first of [he year. 7
Florida Nouse Craft: Mrs. Weber made a motion seconded by Mr. Crenshaw to gf ve I
the Building Inspector perms ssf on to issue a building permit on Dak Lane and '
Ridge Road as zoning is okay for type building he intends to build. Motion carried.
Mr. Schubert reported that he himself had opened up ditch on his property
temporarily 6 for the time it fs draining properly, but it se ms to be the problem
of the County. Mr. Williamson recommended that Mr. Davis go ahead with suit as
Mayor Drown had recommended.
Per report given by Mr. Fisher, Mr. Klosky made a motions onded by Mrs. Weber to
discontinue Trash pick-up-service after December 31st. because we had been losing
oney on it. Motion ca ri ed. Mr. Jaques made a mnendation that we call s
experts in the field of Trash & Garbage Col lec ti oncto give us some facts and ome
fjgures on such a servf ce.
Mr. Klasky made a motion to get bids out for Metal Building to store equipment at
City Garage. Mrs. Weber seconded, Motion was carried.
Mr. Kl os ky made a motion, s vended by Mrs. Weber to have Mayor sign service contract
for Fire Protection for Dearborn. Motion carried.
Ordinance A 318 Cable T. V: Mr. Kisoky made a motion seconded by Mr. Williamson
to table the second reading of Cable T.V. Motion carried.
Mr. Klos ky made a motion seconded by Mr. Williamson that we go ahead and purchase ~
a Police Cruiser at a cost of $ 3,85].]3. Motion carried.
Mr. Klps ky made a motion seconded by Mrs. Weber to authorize Mr. Davis to pursue
c uit against City concerns n9 the Property annexed by City. Motion carried.

Mr. Crenshaw made a motion seconded by Mr. Kl os ky to accept the resi9nati ons
of patrolman Ross rocker, and radio operator Greg Na rbot; also to authorize Lh ief
Wowell Lo fill the positions. Motion carried.
Mr. Crenshaw made a motion to authorize City Clerk to pay paving bill on Tennis
Courts fn the amount of 5 5,2)0.29. Motion seconded by Nr. Klos ky was carried.
Mr. Klas ky made a motion for City Employees to be off Friday before New Years,
seconded by Mr. Williamson. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Mr. Williamson, seconded by Mr. Kl osky to, adj ~~rn. Motion carried.
