Meeting opened with prayer by Mayor Eugene Jaques,fo clawed by Salute to the Flag. Moved by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Helms to approve the minutes of the preceding council meeting. Motf on carried. Mr. Miller representing a group of Senior Citizens of the Moravian Chvrch requested permission to use the "Shuffle Board" Court in Longwood, Of ck Crenshaw Chairman, 81 tlgs, Parks & Grounds re ommended the Court at Shady Side Park be used by the group. Council approved, c Moved by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Ferrell to allow Phase 1 of Wi nsor Manor S/D to continue, Phase 11 be turned ov r to the City Engineer & Attorney to ins De<t the Plat of the Subdivision and follow their reconmentla ti ons. Moved by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Helms to pass Ordinance # 320 on first readi nq, Roll Call Vote: Mr. Crenshaw, Helms, Klos ky- yes, Mr. Williamson, Ferrel i- No Motion carried, Ordinance # 320 passed the first readi nq. Moved by Mr. Helms seconded by Mr. Crenshaw to purchase 50 additional city maps upon Mayor Jaques reconmendati on. Motion carried. Kenneth Benson, Engineer from the firm of Land Engineering wa amended by the Mayor. Mr. Williamson objected to the Mayor making a mnendation because ii is the co ci 1's place to elect zoning board members, and reque stetl his name to be stricken from the list. Roll Call vote was held, each co n<il member cast 3 votes for his candidates. James Brown r ved 5 votes, Donald ScM1rei ner 4 votes, Tracy Estes 3 votes, Rodney Cable 2 votes, Keane Chr OeWi tz 1 vote. James Brown, Donald Schreiner, Tracy Estes we a elected. Water Systems, Inc. for work extending water line on Longwood-Markham Road in the amount of 5 11.929.50. Motion carried. A Cemetery map was approved to be made for Mr. Fisher to use. Moved by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Helms authorizing Mr. Fisher to purchase necessary Di Pe to vse on Lakeview 8 Georgia, also Church 8 Oak Streets. Motion carrf ed.
