Williamson Meeting opened with prayer by tM1e Mayor, followed by Salute to the Flaq. 1. letter from Nader Homes, Inc. requesting a ce fran the front setback requirement on Lot 189, Lake Searcy Shores. MayorrJ agues recanmended the setback be granted. Motion by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Ferrell to grant the variance on the front setback on Lot 189, lake Searcy Shores 5/0, hb ti on carried. 2. William Palm, Engineer, Re: prainage on Land 8 Credo. The most inexpensive plan s to go North along the ditch near Longdale ,through Skylark S/0 to Soldiers Creek. 1,300 linel ft. of pipe required, the contract price is $ 26,400 the materials would wst approximately $ 13,000. Mayor re mended steps be taken to solve the problem. Motion by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr.cFerrell to place an order for the pipe f mnedi ately to co re ct the problem on Land 8 Credo, also, authorize the Mayor to negotiate for a loan with the Bank for $ 12,000.00 Motion ca ri ed. Mrs. Mary Boltz complained about water standing on Park Ave. & 3M1 Ort Street. The County Lomni ssione rs have been informed about the contli ti on on SR 434 causing this problem. 4. Mr. Palm-Ae: Island Lake Orai nage Outfall. When Winsor-Manor came into the City the Engineer approved it on the same premise that the County approved the Woodlands: tht fs, that no water would go from South of 5R 434 to Winsor-Manor. The first plans that was submitted to the City did not even have a eciion from South of 434 North. later on the developer added this pipe to co nett this n8 go through, but these pipes i Winsor-Manor 8 tM1e Woodlands a not st zed to Cake this runoff, so it is not Winsor- Manor that caused the problemrin Island Lake, it goes back to when the Woodlands as platted 8 these drainage pipes were put in 8 were designed to take a certain amount of runoff in the ar a tying North of 434. It is the County's problem because they do not have an outlet to the North they would like to develop an outlet to the East then into Soi Bier's Creek, Mr. Palm concurs that an outlet frdn Island Lake is needed, and munends that co ncil cooperate with Seminole County to develop this outlet. Motion carried. 5. Motion by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Ferrell to authorize the Engineer 8 Supt. to proceed with the draf nage on Church Ave. 8 Lake Gem. Motion carried. The Engineer agreed to check the storage capacity of Lake Gem. 6. James Carter-Re: Drat nage on Longwood Street North. Mr. Carter wanted permission to re ve the trees from Florida Ave. 8 have an vati ng company come in 8 grade the street down level, he also wanted the dirt. Thee Mayor stated that there is a question on the height on the street. Motion by Mr. Crenshaw seconded by Mr. Ferrell to refer the matter to the engineer and follow his recomnendat ion. Motion carried. 6. Mayor Jaques requested the County to return the "Watergate" to the owner. Council authorized the Mayor to notify Seminole County to return the gate to the rightful owner. 2a~ ].
