Regular Session, February IS th. 19]3 the Longwood City Council me[ in regular session February 15th. at 7:30 p. m. Present: Ali Council Members, Mayor 8 City Attorney. Meeting opened with prayer by Mayor Eugene Jaques, followed by Salute to the Flag. Minutes of previous meeting approved with one co recd on, the salary of the Bookkeeper should be $ 6.240.00 instead of $ 6,200.00 per yr. Correspondence read by the City Cie rk. 1. Letter from Seminole Lounty School Board -Re: The school mi it age election on Tuesday March 13, 1973, requesting the City Council [o adopt a Resolution approving thfs endeavor. ~! 2. Letter Re: Oe vons hi re S/D. requesting final acceptance of the S/D. ` 3. letter from Glace 8 Radcliffe, Inc.-Re: Hi ghi and Nilis S/D. The engineer again strongly re omnendetl that the two swa les be eliminated 8 the storm water piped under the road. When this is done the city should accept the plans for the project contingent upon the developers fvrni shi nq to the city the necessary performance bond. Agenda: 1. Logan Browning spoke on obtaining Federal Funds, also explained procedures for State 8 Federal 0.even ue Sb..ing. Moved by Xr. Fecrell s conded by Mr. Helms to table the matter for three weeks for council to study. Motion carried. 2. Walter Sutter Re: Variance of 2 ft. on his property located at 895 Wo. Hwy 427. Mr. Sutter stated that after a title search of the abstract an Internal Improvement Fund ea ement had been found that effects his property 8 boil df ng. Mr. Sutter requested a 2 ft. sv Mayor Jaques re nmended a public hearing be scheduled on the matter. Moved by Mr~aNeims seconded by Mr. Crenshaw to set a public heari n9 March 8th. at 7:00 p. m. on the request. Mo tf on carried. 3. Mr. Kenneth Schraw Re: Building on ]5 ft. Lot in R-2 Zane. Mayor Jaques recommended a building permit be granted to Mr. Schraw. Moved by Mr. Crenshaw to issue a building permit to Mr. Schraw.
