Mr. Terry Coone was pees ent regarding Skylark Subdivision. The minutes oP the Zoning Board stated tRat the Subdivision should be approv<!d provided a roatl to Ywy 1.7-92 is constructed, also Grant Street be extended, and a wail be constructed during construction of the Subdivision. A peti tion from the residents of Langdale Subdivision requesting the Mayor & City Council. to prevent the ing of any street or thoroughfare through Longdale that would creat<: a safety hazard of crowd sd traffic problem. This petition was noted & filed in City Hall, ' Mayor Brown recommended the Preliminary Plat o£ Skylark Subdivision be accepted with the stipulation that May Street be closed. Moved by R1r. Crenshaw seconded by 01rs. We bnr instructing the Attorney to draft an Ordinance ann:.xing the property of Skylark Subdivision into tha Cityr following the annexation proceedings. Motion carried. The letter sugges tad City purchase the building £or a City Ha11 and recreation center, Moved by Mr. Williamson seconded by N Klosky authorizing the mayor to look into the sale oP the Church property.
