Box 3064 Longwood, wanted to know where this tynn o£ classification would be. Pirs. Sturgeon wanted to know what re._c oursa Residents surrounding such an area would have in protecting their property. A letter from Miss Barbara Dampier regarding her proposal to drart a now Map for the City was read by the dhairman. Mayor Brown recommended that council retain Miss Dampier to make the Map as per Rer written proposal and advance the ."p 300.00 as requested to start the Map. Moved by Mrs. Thompson seconded by Mr. Williamson to accept Miss Dampi er's proposal and enter into contract with her for a new Map of the City Roll Ca11 Vote: Unaminous, motion carried. A petition was submitted to Council by Mr. & Mrs. Dane Austin, resi.di ng at 400 Eest Church Ave. asking that the dog Ordinance be enforcetl. Thn petition was signed by 29 residents . Mrs. Austin stated tRat this is a serious problem and asked that something be done to control dogs running at large on the resi dents property. Council informed Mrs. Austin that the City is trying to work out a solution to the problem with Seminole County and hopes to have the matter taken care of soon, Chairman James Erown read a Setter from resitl ents of T,he Wildm ere section ' thanking Council for placing the 4 way stop sign at the intersection of .,rant Street & Wi ldmere Ave. A letter from Steele, Sackson & Amos regarding the accidental death ' benefits of Policeman.
