The Longwootl City Council met in regales sessvon March 12 et
8:00 p.m. All Council members, Mayor b City Attorney present.

meetings were reed b approved as read,
Mr. Soe Wigin ton, spokesman for reaid ants of the Wildmere
s ec lion of the City requested SomeChing be tlone to prohibit
construction of duplexes in the R-1 Res identiel zone.
The Attorney revrewed the recommendation of [he zoning board,
and stated that the council could hold a public hearing
wiChin 15 tlays fcom date. of edvertisemenT to eliminate Che
construction of duplexes in the R-i ar if they so desire.
Moved by Mrs. Thompson seconded Ey Mr. Williamson c place e
more xorvum on the issuing of bur ltl ing permits for duplexes in
the R-1 zo only single family residents.

the zoning ordinance to eliminate the constrvctvon of multiple

resolution for a QuiC Claim deed on the Easy 50 fc. of xhe
South 100 ft. of Lot 142, Town of Longwood.
Moved by Mr. Scott seconded by Mi. WLLL Lamson authorizing the
Mayor 6 G1ty Clerk to execute the resolution To give a Quit
Claim Deed Co the property upon receipt of $ 322.88 for taxes
antl $ 150.00 for Attorney fees.

chief stated that the funds had been allocated in the budget. Moved

The agreement between the Florida Division of Forestry Service and the
Ci Cy of Longwood was reed by ehe ACTOiney. Moved by Mr. Helms To
enter unto the egr Bement with ehe division of FT~esCry as stated, also
authorizing Mayor Brown [o sign the contract. Chairman relinquished
the chair in older to second Lhe mptvon.
