Scott, Eugene Jaques, B,.~i, Ferrell, James: A. Brown, S. Joseph Davis, Jr. Attorney, Kenneth H. Brown, Jr. Mayor.. ~. Meeting called to order by Chairman t~Tilliams©n, who-announced that the purpose, of this meeting was to discuss the possibility of moving .the City Funds from the Florida State-Bank to the South Seminole Bank. Moved by Mr. Ferrell-seconded by Mr, Brown to transfer the accounts from.the Florida State Bank of Sanford to the: South: Seminole. Bank of Fern .Park. :Roll Call vote: I~naminous, motion carried.. Moved by Mr,.Brown seconded by Mr. Scott that the Chairman of the City Council continue to sign checks and be counter-signed by the City Clerk. Motion carried. Mbved by Mr. Scott seconded by Mr. Ferrell to transfer the existing - Loan on the new fire truck from the Fla. State Bank to the So, Seminole Bank with the same interest rate & terms, also the Attorney to give an opinion on the matter. :Motion carried. Loved by Mr® Jaques seconded. by Mrs Brown authorizing the City Attorney to prepare a resolution objecting to..the proposed increase in telephone ratesiby the Winter Park Teloahone Co. also to be present representing the. City .of Longwood at the meeting to be held at the Langford Hotel on March ;19th-at 93© A.M.;in Winter Park. Motion carried, Council authorized the T~ater Supt, to re-vamp the meter reading books in order to .save time in. reading. the water meters as he sees fit.
