Mr. Tom ~iage requested permission to park a trailer on Hwy 434 in Industrial zone to be used as an off ice for a period of one yr. Council turned down the request, he ordinance does not permit trailers except in a regular trailer park, M~, Albert L. Land,Jr,.from Land Engineering Co. was .present to .discuss the paving of Lake Ave. & Oleander Street. Moved by Mr. Jaques seconded by Mr. Scott authorizing Land Engineering Co. to .draw plans & specifications for the paving of Lake Ave. from the intersection of Hwy,.427 East to Oak Street & Oleander Sheet from Lake Ave, South to & including the intersection of Tullis Ave. Motion carried.. Moved by Mr, Scott seconded by Mr, Ferrell to place ordinance ~,~ 216 on first reading. Roll Call Vote.: Unaminous, Motion carried, The Attorney read ordinance ~~ 216 in full,. Mayor Brown stated that he had received letters from C & ~3 Sanitation ` Co, & i~ ~ ~ disposal service desiring to enter into a frachise with the City for garbage service. she city Attorney was instructed to prepare a. garbage franchise agreement for study and the intersted parties to coa?1e to next council meeting to diseuss the natter. The ly'iayor stated that both companies were willing to post a 5,000. perforu~ance bond. Moved by I~ir. Jaques seconded by Mr. Brown instructing the Attorney to draw an. ordinance re-zoning Lots 9,10,11,1.2,13, ~ 14 Block b, Anended 1'.e-flat of ildmere to R-M Multiple family residential district. moll call vote: Unaminous, motion carried. Brown to create a -new classification to the zoning 'ordinance to be kno~Nn as @'B-I ~ ..~~~ ~~ .~~ Business district to include the property. that was advertised. Roll call vote: iTnaminous, m©tion carried. The appraisal of Lots 94,9~2,98,982,,1~2-1022,103,1032 was~read by the Attorney. The lots were appraed by l~ir.•H;S. Arnold and the totel fair marketvalue was estimated by Mr. Arnold to be o;;3C10, 'The City Attorney was instructed to negotiate with the respective owners of the said .prop~r~y in beha f of the City. order fio reach an agreement on Mr, Ferrell requested a meeting on July 21 at 7;30 p.m. to work on the budgets. Moved by Pslrr. Ferrell seconded by Mr, Brown to accept the finincial statement & pay the bills, Motion carried; The Attorney read the report from the South Seminole Bank regard- ing the borrowing of $ 125,Ofl0. to extend the water system, The bank committee wants a lien on Cigarette taxes as well as other revenues. The City agreed to pledge only the caster revenue, Msyor awn stated that he had told Mr, Jack Toole that they were sufficent to pay the loan off, and insisted on balding the bank to the agreement. - Moved by i~,r. Jaques seconded by fir, Scott authorizing the City Supt. to advertise for bids-on pipe & materials for Evergr"een Place. Motion carried.
