Meeting called to order by the chairman, minutes of previous meetings were read and approved as read. Complaints from property owners ire the City about vacant property were registered. Mr. Cousins residing at 32~ Lake Ave= comple.ined about the condition of the adjoining property.. Police Chief, ~..F~ Sweat was instructed to investigate the matter® Mr. ~ l~rs. C.E. Strickland complained about rats & snakes coming from the vacant lot adjoining their property o_ri E. Orange Ave,. Th.e property is owned by Mr® Sam Hodge and Mr. Hodge was p?r.~sent ar_d agreed to have the lot cleaned. Mrs,. ~rV'ilma Pope, representing the Seminole County Bus drive°rs informed the council of the traffic problem at th.~ New Lyman ' High Seho~l o Mr. Muse also steted that help is needed to ~~.o~,re this problem. May®r Broy~-n stated that he had instructed the Police Chief to stu~.y the problem for a period o two weeks., and suggested that each counci loran go dovvri and study the situation. Mr. Muse stated that it is illegal in the State of Florida for th.e school Chief board to spend money to police school. crossings. The Police was asked. to contest th:e Princ~.pal of Lyman School to work out a plan and report back to the ct~uncil. Mrs. Fisher City Supt. stated that the Company advertising the used water -tank had established the price of ~ 75,0009 plus the cost of a foundation far re-installing the tank.
