Special Session October 30, 1969
The Longwood City Council met in special session October 30 at
7:30 p.m. to consider bids on the paving project of Lake Awe. &
0leancier Streets hater tank, Paver machine & t~.r kettle..

Present: E.E. ~ilii:amson, N.A. Scott, Eugene Jaques, B.H. Ferrell
James A. Brown, Mayor Kenneth H. Brown & Attorney S. Joseph Davis.
?vieeting called to order-by the Chairmen.
Albert. N. Fitts,aAttorr~ey representing James C. C~mb1e stated that.
Mr. gamble was opposed to splitting the property that he otaned in
the B-1 Businessdistrict, but had no objections to zoning it as it
was first advertised.. The matter wll:.be taken up at the regular
session ~iov. 13, 1969. ,_
Mr. Tom rapier was present to geve ~n account of the Bus service,
and stated tY~at-Casselberry had voted to extend the sErvice•untii
January 3, 1970, based on the assumption that Longwood and l~Torth'.
Orlando would also participate. Moved~by Mr. Jaques seconded by
dir. Scott to authorize the Mayor to negotiate with the Mayor of
`C~sselberry a.nd the Orls.nd.o Transit Co, to extend the service.
Motion carried.
The'City-Council determined that an sgenda should be followed for
future meetings. ,Moved by Mr. Brown seconded by Mr. Ferrell to
.follow an agenda, and individuals submit requests to the council
~ days before the meetings .and that council meffibers receive a copy
of the agenda. Motion carried.

the Bid awarded to B. ~x ~ Sales Inc. at the meeting Goober 9, was
found to be. short one fire hydrant. The matter was referred to the
City Attorney for a ruling.
