The Longwood .City Council met in regular session December 1_~.th at
8:0~ p.m..
Present: E.E. Williamson, James A, Brown, B.H. Ferrell, H.A. Scott,
Eugene Jaques, S. Joseph Davis, Jr. Kenneth H. Brown., Jr.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman,, minutes of previous
meetings were read & approvF;d as read.,
Mrs. Geri Hitsman requested permission to keep her place of
business located on W. Sanlando Springs Dr. open until 2:00 A.M.
during the dog racing season. The council stated that the ordinance
did not allow 2:00 closing hours. .Mayor Brown recommended that
the matter be studied, and. the City would be receiving more requests
of this nature in the near .future. The Attorney stated that the
ordinance would have to be changed.
d group of residents from the Wildmere section of the City requested
council to change the zoning ordinance in order that only single
family dwellings could be built in the R:-3. zone. The Attorney
stated that anew classification would have to be created, or to
amend the present ordinance. The Attorney suggested a work session
with the council & zoning board regarding the matter.
Bids on water pipes hydrants, & fi~,tures were opined L read.

Mr. Fisher stated treat the ,.bids on pipe & supplies. had been checked
& compared and that B ~ H Sales, Znc, was -the ~-:ow bidder, Moved by
Mr, Brown seconded.by Mr. Scott to :accept the bid of B & H Sales, Inc.

Dept. to take carp of the following offeneF;s;:

Moved by Mr, Jaques seconded bar Mr,. Brown authorizing the Attorney
