Ferrell, Eugene Jaques, Mayor Lorrz~.arx~, Meeting called to order by Chairman ~7i11iamson, who announced that the purpose of this meeting was to discuss the prob~lens of the water dept. Mr. ;gown a.r_nounced that the anticipated revenues for the fiscal .year of 1367-b3 were approxi~iately 1_8Qro short. This shortage was due to three reasons; 1-proposed ar_ne~atien not a reality. ~-Fines ~ Forfeitures short. 3- ~Tater recerau~ based on an expected raise which had been placed in the b~~zdget. Brown & i~?r. ~'? sher c~as authorized to contact the State toad Dept. regarding the light. ` Mayor Lormann turned over to the City a check in the amount of $..157.00 received from Simpson Motors, Ir_c., a rebate on the excise tax from the purchase of the recent police car. Mayor Lflrmann called attention to the dangerous condition of the tires Qn the police car and requested permission to purchase new ones. Permission was granted. Mayor Lormann staffed that the County .Commissioners would be.approached regarding lighting streets leading from the main highways into the various cities in order to make more attractive entrances.
