Mr. Cleveland stated that. he 'nad .filed ~ pet.ition in the- Circuit Court against ordinances loo. 197 ~ 2~c3 in order that no further a.cti on could be taken to ar~neX t~.e property. ?fir. The City Attorney stated that ordinance 1Vo. 197 had nothing to do with floe dog tract property and that th.e .petition against that ordinance should be dismissed. i~r. Homes in the 3~ to 4~,~0~ bracket. would be constructed. Nlr. 1'etrus wanted to hnow if the City could furnish materials if the County would furnish. labor & machinery in order to co~?plete t'ne road connecting Mate Rd, 43~ & t'ae Longwood-~'lark_ham Road. Thee City Attorney advised the Council to .study the matter before any action is talon. Igir, Scott and Iglr. Brown agreed to accompany Mr. Rauch to the next meeting of t'_~e County Co~rmissioners to discuss the matter.. Nlr. G. E, Strickland, building inspector reported on the meet- ing of the zoning board ~ regarding the request of ~r . Igleadows to re- zone property on ~?ild?~ere Ave. The zoning board had no objections to re-zoning Lots 9 through ~4 ilk. 6 of the ;r~ilc3~nere Replat ir. order that multiple apartments could be erected, also to ;rant a variance in .the living area req~:ire~ients. ~'Ir. Jaques recom~aended that the City Attorney prepare an adverbs- went .setting a .date-fora public hearing on this property. The .Chairman set the date of the public hearing for April 25th at 8 : ~~3 p.m. ~Ir. E.C. Campbell ~~anted to know ~~hy part of his property ±aas annexed into the City under Qr~iria~ce Rio: 197 and Hart left out. i~layor Lor;.rann agreed to c:n.eck the legal description regarding this matter. An ordinance of the Ci ty of Longwood amending Sections 8 & 9 of ordinance no. 1~2 providing fees & regulations for use of City water of .the said City was read in full. ?gloved by ~Ir. .~errell seconded by I~ir.
