Maloney, E.E, ~J'illiamson, John Deaton. Absent,: B.E. Mack. Meeting called to order by Chairnnan, Minutes of previous meetings read and approved as read. Bids. on the Scott Air Pak acid spare Cylinder were opened & compared, Firn?s biddinp~ were: ABC Fire Ec~uipmexat two, ~ Lee Blanchard Municipal Supply. Moved by Mr, Jaques seconded by Mr, Maloney to refer the bids to the Fire Chief for recommendation, Motion carried. A Letter from Mayor Black., appointing Jack L. Bushor as police Ghief and raising his salary frond ~ 400..00 to 5 450.QO per Month effective May 1,1966 was. read in full-_by the chairman.., Motion by John Deaton that this recommendation by accepted. Motion died for lack of a second. Lotion by Mr. Deaton that Jack L Bushor be made Chief of Police.. Motion died for lack of a second.. An Ordinance amending. Ordinance #~ 1$4 being the general ordinance for the control of dogs within the City of Longwood, Florida, providing for the control of dogs by owners at all times was read in foil by the Chairman, Motion by Mr. Deaton seconded by Mr. Jaques to adopt the ordinance.
