'meetings read and: approved as read.'
The public hearing of the paving of Tullis Ave.. and Oak Stree
was called. No complaints were registered. Moved by Lommle
seconded by Reams that the assessment roll of the paving of
Tullis Ave. from Grant Street to Oleander street and Oak Str
from Reider Ave. to Wildmere Ave. be confirmed and approved.

The public hearing of the paving of Land and Seminole Avenues
.was called.
!Mr. Albert Fitts, Attorney, representing Mr. & Mrs. George D.
Scott stated .their objections to the paving project. Mr. John _
Faedi also stated his objections. The objectors were informe~~
that the meeting was called to hear objections as to the asses'sed ~'
footage and legal descriptions or any errors in the assessmentt

roll.
Moved by Beams .seconded by Lommler that the paein of Land an•
Seminole Avenues between Highland .Street and Lakeview Drive b~€€
approved and confirmed.

Moved by Helms seconded by Lommler to instruct the City Attornfey
to draw up~a resolution for the paving of Maine Avenue from
East Lake Street to Grant Street. Motion carried.

The Longwood City Council met in adjourned session December
17, at 8:00 p,m.

Meeting called to order by Chairman. Bids on the resurfacing
of Highland Street, Evergreen Avenue, .and Marvin Avenue were
opened and compared, Moved by Reams seconded by Lommler to t
the bids under advisement until the regular meeting in Januar
Motion carried.
A resolution regarding the establishment of a Junior college
Seminole County was read in full by the chairman. Moved by
Ferrell seconded by Helms to adopt the resolution. Motion
carried and resolution No. 157 was adopted..
An application for a liquor license by Don & Geri Hitsman wa;
read in full by chairman, Moved by Helms, seconded by Ferrel:
~to engage the surveyor, M.C. Hagan, to establish distances fry
the Episcopal Church and the Church of Christ to Don & Germ s
tavern. Motion c,~rried.
Ar. agreement between the City of Longwood and L.T. Hunt Jr.
was read in full by the chairman. Moved by Reams seconded by
Helms to enter into the agreement as submitted and read betwee
L.T.• Hunt,Jr. and the City of Longwood regarding the liquor
license of the Longwood Hotel and Bar.
