The minutes of the regu$ar session July 3 ,1958 were read and approved.
Attorney Sam E. Murrell,"Jr, representing v7, L. Johnson repeated Par.
Johnson's request fora liquor license, but`in view of Nir. Johns®n's
announced intention to start cour`~ action, he was advised that the matter
had been placed in the hands of the To-~an Attorney and that he would
handle the question.
23otion by Mr. Scott seeonded by Mr. Reiter that the Town accept Mr.
Dunn-Rankin's quotation of July 22 in connection with an audit of the.
books for the fiscal years ended Oct. 31, X956, and Oct. 31, 1957 and
ending Oct, 31, 1958. Motion carried,
Mr. Carlson read letter.from the Lor~aood Area Chamber of Co~mnerce asking
that the Torn Park be kept clean and locks be put on the rest room doors, i

Ordinance No. 139 entitled 21An Ordinance of the Towr_ of Longwood, Florida
closing and vacating that certain unnamed street runrirng between Magnolia
Avenue on the North to Jessup Street on the South and being between Wat
Heights and Musser's Subdivision in the Town of Longwood, Florida."
was read for the decond reading. Motion by Mr, Reiter seconded by Mr.
Scott that Ordinance No. 139 be adopted as read. A11 members voted yes.

(Motion by Mr. Helms seconded oy Mr. Scott that buildir_g permits be issued
to the following: J. R. .Grant, Suburban Construction, Edam Schweiger,
Martha Lycans, Esther Showers, Earl Showers and Reiter Bathers.
Motion Carried.
Mr. Eninger ~~~.ested street light at the corner of Lyn's Drive and East
Street.
Motion by Mr. Scott seeonded by P~Lr. Reiter that the various bills be paid ',
and the financial statement be accepted. Motion carried.
