The Council met in regular session IIecember 5, 1957 at 8 P.M.
Present: R. C. Carlson, J. R. Reiter, H. A.`Scott, E. E. Williamson.
Absent: S. ~. Johnson.
Minutes of the regular session November 7,;::1957 were read and appsoved.
Mrs. Hamilton ask if Fire Dept. would burn some stumps. for her.' Matter
,.turned over to the Fire Chief John ~°arina.
j Mr. Marchese requested permission to dig out the lake by his house on a
I section of the street whieh runs into the lake. Council promised to
look the situation over.
j Marcia Winkle requested Credo graded. Matter turned over to street
j committee.

Motion by Mr. Scott seconded by Mr. Reiter that wilding Permits be
~ granted to the various applications as listed:

Request for street light on Markam Rd. .near Crickets Acre. Turned over
to Street Cor~ittee.
~ The downtown parking situation was discussed. The Mayor was asked to
talk over the idea/of 15 min. parking certain hours of the day in
~ several spaces. faith the merchants
The Police Report for the month of November was read by P4ayor Elgin.

Motion by Mr: Scott seconded by Mr. Williamson .that the bills be paid
and the .financial statement be accepted. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Reiter seconded by Mr. Williamson that the Building
Committee be authorized to purchase a typewriter for the. clerk's office.
Motion Carried.
