All members present.
The minutes of the pr~¢aus.~me:etngswere read and approved.
Mr. Hage of the "Bella Heights'' subdivision on Lake St. :
addressed the Council regarding the opening of Lake Street.
ter. Utto spoke iri behalf of ~r._Proehl to the effect that
he had heard that Lake Street hae~.been closed some time
ago but ~r.;Hage claimed this was impossible as his
Attorney and surveyer both agreed that the street in
open. At the suggestion of ter. Carlson,n~r. nage~will have
another conference with•his Attorney and have this sit-
anon cleared up by the nett Council meeting.

the Council to secmre awe a " Did End" sign to be place
a the North End of East Lake Avenue at the beginning of his
property line.He offers to repay the 'sown for this sign.~~.r.
Carlson referred the matter to the Street Committee, for
action.
Mr. Carlson read a letter from the Governor .proclaiming
Saturday,May 19th. as Armed forces day and the .matter
was referred to the Mayor with inst~uetions to prepare
the necessary Torn proclamation.

Orange Circle ir. the Town of Longwood.This ordinance
was read for the 3rd. time and motion to pass this
ordinance. was made by 1rr.Reiter, seconded icy fitr. Jor~nson.

Rozier Company and have them bring machine out for
demonstration-and that the Street Committee be empowered
to- make d-ecision, seconded by ~i~r. Arnold. Carried.
John. Farina requested perrr~issian to have two truck
tires--recapped at a cost of 33,OG.The Council agreed that
if-~r-. ne-iter determines the. cost to be within reason,
the arork should be done.. •
