Saylor Muir spoke regarding the holes on Or~mge St. west of Grant Ave.and also mentioned that the high grass bordering the road on each side was detrimental. to the safety cf motorists and children.The Chairman agreed that such condition. should be corrected and directed John Farina to remedy the situation as soon as possible9 3, in conr_ecting~;~ith.the ~roposai to. enclose the water tank and pump area with steel v~i.re, fer_cir_g,the Council examined bids from the Reeves Fencing Company and the Cent al Florida Irrigation.Co.:It was agr-ed that the bids be held p pending the opportunity for Mr. Johnson to obtain further bids. - 4. The Chairman read the application. for a Liquor license from ~r.~ard of the Longwood Hotel. The Chairman read application from r:Yr. Baker. of the Longrraod Cafe for JPine and beer vendor°s license. Mr. Johr_son made a mot~an that the application be app- roved the license be issued to BEr.
