St.,He claimed the street was supposed to have been
opened over a year`ago.The Chairman referred the matter to

4, The Chairman spoke with reference to the paving of
Church Street..and read Letter from I~r. O'Nea11.He
offered. the suggestion that the matter bs tabled and
°b"nought bef'ore--tha new Council eos~tening January 3rd.1957.
rtir. Reiter mentioned that he had spoken to Commissioner
.Swofford but was anable to obtain any actiori.He advised ~',
the Council that there have been instances r+here the ',
County did the paving and charged the Town for the matQrial
In view of the increase in the approximate costs, the
Chairman suggested that the Council hold a special meeting
with the property orners on the 12th®, so that they may
be informed of the progress in the preparations.
