Presento R.C.Carlson, Chairman B.Reiter - J.Reams Ei.S.Arnold - S.R.Joh~ason The minutes of the previous meeting were read and duly pproved on motion by I~r. Johnson and seconded by hur. Reams. ~~t~Cr. Johnson introduced ~r.Albert a'Neall,a Professional Engineer whom he had called in consultation regarding the-water situation.After preliminary discussions as to "- ~ form of procedure and methods of determining through 'survey what would be the best plan for the Town to follow in order to insure proper water supply both at present ;and in the fu~ure.~ ~iI~r. 0°Neall agr$ed to forward to the Town Council a full program. of their ideas and the cost for such survey. Responding to request from Chairman Carlson for any new_ iusiness to he brought before the Council,~Prs. Hunt asked bout moving the light poles on the corner of ChurchrTBc East .eke Ave. ~.Ddr. Carlson advised her that cur. ~cGui~ess of the °lorida Pow3r Corp.,is arranging for this removal and as~o .n conr_eotion with the removal of trees for replacing of ;he pole,I~r. ~cG~sinness stated that no tree will have to ~e removed and only the first tree will be trimmed. The Town Clerk was instructed to write ~Ir. Lightfoot of the ACL in an effort to obtain some atone for crossing. . At suggestion of fir. neams,the Clerk was requested to obtain pria~ea of 18" Concrete pipe with junction boxes fPom the Sher~tan Concrete pfag~ Co., Also, fir.. Arnold instructed the Clerk to communicate eith '~.Q.Logue of Orlando regarding the use of tarpaulins when pi~~ing up rubbish and garbage in Town. This action was in response to complaints of litter and papers falling off trucks. 3~g.tion by ~Er.Arnold, seconded by i~r. Johnson that letter be forwarded to the Board of Count, Commissioners requesting permission to take 200 loads of Clay from the bounty Clay .pit for use on Longwood streets.
