The minutes of the preCildT~Ag meeting were read and
approved on motion by Mr, Reams, seconded by Mr.Arnold. ~~

Letter from the~A CIiR~ was read by the Clerk whereby
the. RR Co., defined their responsibilities on crossings. '
This led to discussion or. Church Street crossing a.nd f
at the suggestion of I~r. Carlson the Council agreed to
meet at the Depot on Monday, July lOth.at l.i~.3~.to study
the situation at its source.
Mr. Johnson read letter from Mr. O'Neal regarding the ~!
oust of his services in making the water Department ?
survey.AS theme ware no figures as to the final cost of
the project,tha Council requested Nr. Hohnson to obtair.

In connection with the enforcement of Ordinance X69, ~ '
the Council was informed that the 1®cal dealers were
coopers,ting in furnishing at a minimum price,20 gal,
garbage-cans with close fitting covers. The Collector ~'
will so inform any householder whose refuse is not 3~ '
in compliance with the existing ordinance. ~~

Mr. Rudolph, as spokesman for a delegation of Orange
Ave., residents requested action on making proper re- ~:
pairs to Orange Avee~e stated the ruts and Moles in
the street ware hazardous and dangerous to cars.~e ~j
Council. agreed to look over the section an Monday,
duly lOth.,when they will meet to inspect crossings.
Mr. Searceyspoke about the Cemetery and the raced for I~
work to be done in making the area more attractive. a;

There will be need for funds to cover su.~veying ~~
and road work and he requested that the Town donate ~~ ~.
100..00 to help defray these expenses.On motion by ~'

that the Town allot 100. Q0 to the Cemetery Assn.and ~ '
that the c~,rrent bills be forwarded to the Town Treasurer ~~ ~
for payq~ent.Motion carried.

financial statement was aocepted and bills ordered
