R.Uray-i7.F.Leighton- y ~~O.H.Frain-&~ayor Bridge. { The Chairman stated the `.purpose of the meet-ing vaas to take up y '~ the matter of taxes a~.d the matter of presenting a bill to tae Legislature to create an adjustment board for delinquent tars. ~~ ~~ After discussion, it was moved by Frain seconded by Gray and;; ccarried, that the Attorney be .instructed to draw a suitable i' j a bill to place before the Legislature for tYie adjustment and it ~colleetion of deli~.quent taxes, A iTuoved b;~ Leighton, seconded by Payne and carried; that the iClerk be instructed to proceed with tr!e Murphy Bill and pur-'. 'chase tax certificates on delinquent properties-to be sel- ected by a committee:of tw~To to be appointed by the President; The Tres, appointed ll~r. Leighton and r~Zr. Frain on the commit~ee, ;Communication and statement of balance due recd from Atty. !. ',Boyle and was read to the Council by the Pres. P,~oved by Gray': ', seconded by Payne &nd Carried, that the -balance of X316;20 °' be paid Pfir. Boyle from the D~T fund.
