Councilmar_ Payne introduced the foLot:ing Resolution, No.58
and moed its adoption, said motion duly secor_ ed y Covecil=
man Frain and_ur_animously carried.

Cou.~zcil of the To~~n of Long rood; That it is a provable fact
that the Toti~i? of Longwood is in sound financial condition and
that the move to abandon the Charter is sponsored principally
by delinquent tax payers and those disappointed by,a:~d de-
feated in, the -last election. Zee have a petition of 61 names
asking that no change be made- of these 61 signers only 8
were delinquent in part or ~rihole. The petition seekir..g abar_-
donment contained 5~ names, of this nu+~ber all. biat_.13 i~e.re~-~.--
