courtesy during four years or his administration ,as mayor.
1'he ~syor stated that he wished to compliment and thank ~r.
Frain for his long and faith%ul.service to the Town, and saidV
that irs his retirement the down-would lease an hor_est, honora
and efficient officer, who had the honor of being the first ~
Mayor. -

fir, Frain stated he wished especiallg to thank the Council
for a letter reeeaatly received. after his absence at one
meeting, and also to taaank the Mayor ard.Ghsirman for their
expressions just made. I~r. Fraiia,stated that 3.n leaving the ~
board hc~'~eas now completeing t}~ longest period of service ~
of sa-~y one anan, the same having been continuous since 191? I,
with the exception of two. years; and recal3ed that ai'ter
completing his terns as hayor he had been asked to run for
the Council by Ron. C, ~. Entzminger and ~Ir, J.N.~c~aughey,
two gentlemen who worked continuously ,for-:;the advancement
of the down. 7~6rr. Frain else expressedi his appreciation for
the flattering vote given him twd years ago when he returned
to the Council, and expressed the belief that he would miss
the ffieetings more thaai he expected to be missed.-
