for the guidance of the Council and welfare of thw sown,
Mayor Bridge then asked far nominations for President of the

of dir. D.E.Leighton as fires: fir. Barris moved nominations
be closed and Mr. Leighton be unanimously elected Pres. Motio:
seconded by fir. Payne and carried. ~r.,Leighton unanimously

all cooperate to confine the business of the Town to the Coun

and moved its adoption. Motion duly seconded by Councilman
Harris; shat inasmue:n. as a vacap.cy exists on the Boafsci of
~1~ater Works Bond i'rustees caused by_the resignation of M.R.
.Blankenship, that this body does now e3ect by resolution,
to fill said vacancy ~Ifr. J. H. Menick. Unanimously carried
and Pres, declared fir, Penick.elected a Bond Trustee.
