Longwood, Florida, and requesting to be included therein; and
WHEREAS, said Petition was duly certified to the Tax
Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to the Charter of
the City of Longwood, Florida, Chapter 69-1268, Laws of Florida,
1969, and the certification of the Tax Assessor of Seminole
County, Florida, as to the sufficiency of such Petition pursuant
to the terms of said Charter received; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Longwood,
Florida, has deemed it in the best interest of the City of
Longwood, Florida, to accept said Petition to annex said area,
NO', TIEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY III CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:

perty heretofore deecr ibed in Section 1 of this Ordinance shall

that portion lying North thereof shall have the zoning classifi-
c atron 0f R-1 Residential District as those classifications
are described in the zoning ordinances of the City of Longwoor1
Florida.
SECTION 3: That upon this Osd.i.nance becoming effec-
tive, the residents and property Owners in the above described
annexed area shall be entitled t0 all of the rights and privi-
leges and immunrtres as are from time to time granted to
residents and property owners of the City of Longwood, Florida,
and as are further provided in the Chapter 69-1268, Laws of
Florida, 1969, and shall further be subject t0 the responsibili-
ties of residency and 0wnership as may be from time to time
