CALL TO ORDER. Mayor Maingot called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. Mayor Maingot asked the presenters to introduce themselves and to provide a brief background on them. Mr. Robert Nabors, Shareholder for Nabors, Giblin and Nickerson Attorneys at Law, Mr. Clifford B. Shepard, General Counsel, Florida Redevelopment Association (FRA) and Shepard, Smith & Cassady, P.A., and Ms. Rochelle W. Lawandales, AICP, President of FRA and Director for the City of Rockledge introduced themselves and gave a brief background on them. Commissioner Bundy arrived at this point of the meeting. Mayor Maingot asked the Members of the Commission and City staff to introduce themselves. The Members of the Commission and City staff introduced themselves. CC 11 -30- 10/395 2. PRESENTATION ON CREATING A COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (CRA). Ms. Lawandales and Mr. Shepard reviewed a PowerPoint presentation on Redevelopment and Community Redevelopment Areas (CRA). They answered questions from the Commission and staff. The Commission recessed at 5:19 p.m. and reconvened at 5:33 p.m. Mr. Nabors gave a presentation on alternative funding approaches for a CRA. He then answered questions from the. Commission and staff. Commissioner Durso moved to have City staff set -up meetings with City Commissioners and for all of Commission to meet with City staff by December 21 and at the January 17 City Commission Meeting, staff bring forth a recommendation.
