CALL TO ORDER Mr. Revels called the meeting to order at 7:04 P.M. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: A. January 25, 2006 Regular Meeting " ~ Mr. Heintz made a motion to approve the minutes as presented. Mr. McLarnon seconded ~ the motion. The motion was approved by ~z (4-0) roll call vote. 4. PUBLIC HEARING: Mr. Revels opened the Public Hearing. A. VAR 02-06 Variance Lmpervious Surface Ratio 45.0 Harbour Isle Way Properly ID#: :~6-20-29-517-0000-0010 Applicant: Scott Bryan MOTION/RECOMMENDATION: Mr. Sizemore stated that the Community Development Division of the Community Services Department recommends that the Board of Adjustment (BOA) review the requested Variance (VAR 02-06) to increase the maximum allowable impervious surface ratio from 42% to 52.7% at 450 Harbour Isle Way. EXPLANATIONBACKGROUND: BOA 0~3-22-06 [Minutes Pale 1 of 2 Mr. Sizemore explained that the applicant constructed a new single family residence on Low Density Residential (LDR) .property located at 450 Harbour Isle Way. The maximum impervious surface ratio for the LDR district is 42%. At the time of building permit application, the proposed impervious surface ratio for the project was 41 During construction, a rear brick patio and brick paver walkway were added. Upon completion, the as-built impervious surface ratio was. 52.7°~0. The applicant is requesting a variance to increase the maximum allowable impervious surface ratio to 52.7%. Scott. Bryan, 3048 Totika Cove, Longwood, stated he just wanted to have a walkway and did not expect the pavers to exceed the impervious service ratio. He explained the lay of the property and the provisions he had made to ensure that the added impervious area would not result in a negative impact. He described hove the property was graded to allow maximum infiltration. Mr. Revels asked if installing pavers required. a building permit.. Mc. Sizemore responded that a permit is required to install brick paver:. Brian Sackett, 399 Harbour Isle Way, stated leis property is diagonal to the applicant's property. He stated his only concern is possible flooding problems. Discussion ensued. 1VIr. Revels closed the Public Hearing. ~ Mr. Heintz made a motion to approve (VAR .92-06) as proposed. Ms. Doulong seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved by a (3=0) roll call vote. 5. OLD BUSINESS: Mr. McLarnon asked about the Dog Track Road signs issue which was discussed at the previous meeting. Mr., Sizemore stated that the issue was being .resolved in collaboration with the Code Enforcement Division. 6.
