A. City Administrator recommends the. City Commission read by
title only, set September 14, 2009 as a public. hearing date, and
approve the first readi»g of Ordinance No. 09-1904 which fixes
the tentative rate of ad valorem taxation for the fiscal year
commencing October 1, 2009 and ending September 30, 201(1.
The tax rate being proposed for FY 2009/2010 is 4.99 per
$1,000 of non-exempt assessed valuation. Said rate is 10.19%
lower than the rolled-back rate of $5.5563 per $1,000 of non-•
exempt assessed valuation as computed by F.S. 200.065.
B. City Administrator recommends the Cnty Commission read by
title only, set September 14, 2009 as a public hearing date, and
approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 09-1905 which
adopts tentative reven~ies, expenditures and fund balances for
the City's fiscal year budget commencing October 1, 2009 and
ending September 30, ::010.

title only and adopt Ordinance No. 09-1900 for a Small Scale
Comprehensive Plan Amendment (SPA O1-09) (Future Land Use
map) from County Low Density Residential to City Low Density
Residential (LDR), for parcel #29-20-30-SAT-0000-003B.
9. REGULAR BUSINESS.
A. The Recreation Manager of the Community Services
Department requests the City Commission read by title only
and adopt Resolution rfo. 09-1223 supporting the Florida Trail
Association's Gateway Community Program.
B. Recommendation for tl~e City Commission to appoint an
Interim Special Magistrate while a Request for Proposals
(RFP) is prepared and distributed.
C. Juanita L. Reinhardt requests the matter regarding the
approval for the installation of the John A. Livings Monument
to be placed on the September 14, 2009 City Commission
Agenda.
D. Mayor H. G. "Butch" Bundy requests the City Commission
discuss the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the City Attorney
position.
E. Commissioner Brian D. Sackett requests the City Commission
discuss and provide die•ection concerning the entrances for the
Tiberon subdivision.
