AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI7CY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA,
CLOSING AND VACATING THAT CERTAIN PORTION OF
OLEANDER STREET RUNING BETWEEN LAKE:-AVENUE AND
MAIN AVENUE IN THE CIT~t OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA
AND PROVIDING FOR EQUAL DIVISION OF OWNERSHIP
AND FURTHER PROVIDING ]?OR THE RETENTION OF A
TWELVE FOOT EASEMENT Fc)R UTILITY PURPOSES BY
THE CITY OF LONGWOOD
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA::
1. That certain portion of Oleander Street runing
between Lake Avenue and Main Avenue within the City Limits of
the City of Longwood, Florida, the, and the same is hereby
vacated and closed as a public tho:rouglzfare
2. The ownership interest in said property is hereby
equally divided among the ajoining property owners along each side
of said roadway .
3. City of Longwood, :Florida, does hereby retain a
twelve foot easement for utility purposes upon said property said
easements shall be deemed to run down the middle of said property
as it now exists.
4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are Yiereby repealed.
5. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage and adoption.
6. This Ordinance shall be published by posting in
three public places in the City of Longwwod, Florida, within ten
days after its pass age .
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
