AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD,
FLO]EtIDA, ANNEXING AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
BOUl~1DARIES OF THE CITY CORPORATE LIMITS
APPROXIMATELY 156,800 SQ. FT. (3.6 ACRES) AT 131
LON~GWOOD HILLS ROAI? PURSUANT TO THE
REQUDtElVIENTS OF , CHAPTER 171.042, FLORIDA
STATUTES; AND PROVIDING FOR THE SUBJECT
PROPERTY TO BE SUBJECT TO TAXATION AND

FOR CONFLICTS, SIEVERABIL:[TY AND EFFECTIVE :DATE
WHEREAS, the owners} oi'certain lands more particularly described
herein below., have requested that the same be annexed and incorporated into the
corporate limits of the City of Longwood, Florida.
.NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1[T ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWSe
Section 1. The lands described (Tax Parcel LD. # 29-20-30-SAT-0000-0120)
and shown on the map in'Exhibit A,, attached hereto, be and the same are hereby annexed
to and included within the corporate limits of the City of Longwood, Florida.
Section 2. The Corporate limits of the City of Longwood, Florida, be and the
same are hereby revised to include the land described in Section 1 hereof.
Section. 3. The City Commission ofthe City of Longwood, Florida does
hereby find that the lands described in Section 1 are contiguous to the corporate limits of
the City of Longwood, Florida, that said lands meet the criteria established by Chapter
171, Florida ;Statutes, that said lands should be annexed, and hereby consent to the
annexation.

Section 4. Upon annexation, the lands described in Section 1 shall retain a
land use desi;;nation established by the Seminole County Zoning Ordinance and
Comprehensive Land Use Plan until otherwise changed or amended by appropriate
ordinance of the City of Longwood, Florida.
Section 5. Effective as provided by law, all real property lying within the
boundaries o:f the corporate limits of the City of Longwood, Florida, as hereby revised,
shall be assessed for payment of municipal ;~d valorem taxes.
Section 6. All persons who have; been lawfully engaged in any occupation, -
business, trade or profession within the area described in Section 1 above, upon the
effective datf; of this Ordinance under a valid license or permit therefore issued by
Seminole County, Florida, shall have right. to continue such occupation, business, trade or
profession within the entire corporate limits of the City of Longwood, as revised, upon
the securing of a valid occupational license from the City of Longwood, which license
shall be issued upon payment of the approp~.-iate fee therefore.
Section 7. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this
ordinance with the Office of the Secretary o~f the State of Florida, the Office of the
Governor of the State of Florida, the Clerk of Court of Seminole County, Property
Appraiser and the Seminole County Tax Collector, within 7 days from the effective date
of the ordinance.
Section 8 Ca~nflicts. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with any of the
provisions of'this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 9 Sewerability. If any seci~ion or portion of a Section of this Ordinance
proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or
impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Ordinance.

Section 10 E;ff'ective Date. This Ordinance shalt become effective ten days
~ after its passage and adoption.
