Ordinance 09-1903 ORDINANCE NOD. 09-1903 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY tJ~F LONGWOOD, FLOR]CDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 09-1887, SECTION 86-127 OF THE CITY OF LONG`JVOOD CODE OF ORIDIN:Ah(CES, AMENDING THE SIX- MONTH NOTICE; INTRODUCTORY 1PERIOD, TO THIRTY (30) DAYS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE I~A'CE. ~'VHEREAS, the City Commission passed and enacted Ordinance 09-1887 on Apri16, 2009; and WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to amend Ordinance 09-1887, Chapter 86 Traffic and Motor Vehicles, Article IV, Traffics Light Safety Act; NOW THEREFO]ZE, BE 'IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LONGVVOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLL®WS: SECTION 1. Ordinance 09-1887, Chapter 86, Article IV, Se•.. 86-127 is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 86-127. Thirty-day notice; introductory ;period. For the first thirty days of this article, unless '.the driver of a vehicle received a citation from a police officer at the time of a red zone infraction in accordance with normal traffic enforcement techniques, the. vehicle owner shalll receive a courtesy notice of the violation. Commencing thirty (30) days after the effective date of the; act, the vehicle owner is subje~~t to the enforcement provision as provided herein. ~ SI~CTION 2. Effective Date.
