Photos n*ere presented in evidence. Officer Steerer of the Longwood Pohcc Department made service of noticc of hearing on 5/14/01 at 5:41 p.m. There has been no contact with thc property on-ncr. Rcspondcnt hlr. Steigelman was present and said the \-chicle had no tag because it had been transferred to a new vehcle he bought. He had the vehlcle ad\-ertised m the i\uto Trader and u-as in the process of selling the vehicle. He has no room in the garage for the rehlcle because it is where he parks his newer ~ehiclesh. iotion made to close the public hearing by Ernie Tolos. Laura Mohlenkamp seconded. All nrerc in favor. Ernie Tolos made a motion to 6nd the respondent guilty of violating Longwood Land Development Code 24-23.07, facts being that thc respondent had the vehicle parked in the driveway and did not have a license tag: therefore it mas not legal to bc driven on street, and not legally operable. He further mox-ed to give the respondent 10 days after service of k a l notification to bring the vchlcle into compliance or a penalty of S25 mould bc assessed for each and ever?. day of non-compltance. No admimstrative costs or fees. Laura hloldenkamp seconded the motion. Ernie Tolos amended the motion, that the initial notification was on 05/03/01, notice of noncompllianc (34 hours) on 05/04/01, notice of hexing dcln-crcd on 03/14/01 by Longwood Police Department. Grant Street, Longwood, F1.32750 p City reported that h s property was cited for trash under City Code Chapter 12-12-2.2. On O4/lO/Ol under pro-active enforcement code inspector Bonnie Hon-ington noticed debris on the property. Photos were introduced into evidence. Thcl-c n-as a large ucc taken down and lving in the yard, glass stacked up against a fence, an old air conditioner, a door and wood lying in the yard. h notice to comply by 1/18/01 mas taped on the door. On a visit on 04/26/01 no changes had been made. A notice of non-compliance was tapcd to the door on 01/27/01. Photo in evidence of the property posted nith notice of hearing on 05/11/01. Photos were taken this morning no changes mere made. There was no proof of delivery on this proper&. There is a lack of a return receipt. No contact was madc with a property owner. The property seems uninhabited. The City of Lonpood Water Department says n-ater was turned off and the meter has been remox-ed. Property is most likely in foreclosure. Ernie Tolos made a motion that the Board directs Ms Goodblatt to determine if propcm is in foreclosure and if in foreclosure to find property is @tv and n-hoever the mortgage holder is to notifr; them of x-iolation of city code. In support of this motion are the facts of photographs and testimony of Codc Enforcement Inspector Bonnie Howington. The notification ivas made 04/10/01 and follow-up notification on 04/26/01, senice posted on property on 05/11/01. In the event that tlus takes longer than several weeks the city is to clean property and apply costs of clean up to the foreclosure. Laura Mohlenkamp seconded the motion. Ernie '1'010s P amended motion that two weeks after sen-ice of final order and city cleans up property at that time fine be assessed of $50.00 per day until such time as someone who has sometling to do with propcrty is in contact with city. A stop work ordcr was issued and the respondent had applied for a permit for their addition. City \\.odd k c to withdraw this case at h s time. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None. OLD BUSINESS: CEB 01-04-1U George And Lynda Webster, 112 Rock Lake Rd., Longwood, F1.3270. The city reported that the final order was delivered on 05/14/01 at 5:38 p.m. The final ordcr stated that the grass was to be mowed and the pool was to be operable. The propert) \vas visited on 05/05/15/01 and some of the yard work had been donc. Thc pool water was #P circulating but it was sdl murky. On another &it on 05/17/0 1 additional work had been donc but the pool was not in compliance. Photographs of the pool and the yard were sho\vn as evidence.
