APPROVE MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING. Andrew McGanymade a motion to approve the minutes of the July23,2002 meeting. Laura Mohlenkamp seconded the motion. The Board voted all in favor. Longwood, FL 32750 This property was cited for work done without a pennit. Photos were submined in evidence. Notice of violation issued. Notice of non-compliance was issued on 04/25/02 after speaking with Building Department to determine if respondent had applied for a permit. Mr. Priest called and advised he w-as in the process of having a survey done and having plans drawn up so an extension -ms granted to 05/06/02. Mr. Priest called on 06/14/02 advising that Mr. Cavone was to do a survey on the property, a further extension was granted. On 06/28/02 Mr. Priest called to advised of further problems with the survey. On 07/24/02 a letter was sent to the property owner advising of the Board hearing. The Notice of Ilearing was delivered to Mr. Priest by Officer Kleinmam of the Longwood Police Deparunent on 08/08/02 at 8:30 prn On 08/23/02 a permit was applied for and is $till in the approval process. This case was brought before the Board by the City for a time restraint to be put on the respondent to pick up the permit when it is ready. Laura Mohlenkamp made the motion to close the public hearing and Andrew McGarryseconded. The Board voted all in favor. Laura Mohlenkamp made a motion to find the respondents &ty of violating Florida Building Code Section 104.1.1. In support of this motion, it was cited that the respondents had been notified, photos were in evidence, and respondents were given ample time to recdythe ~robleman d apply for a permit. Once the permit is granted, respondents will be given 10 days to pick up and pay for the permit and if not picked up in 10 days, or if not approved, respondents will be given 30 days to remove structure. Andrew McGarry seconded the motion. ?he Board voted 5 in favor, 0 against and 0 abstaining. (Clarence Lane, Board member was in the audience and did not vote because of his late arrival.) C CEB 02-08-254 Jeff Came 287 S. Grant St. Longwood, FL 32750 This case was cited with an old code and was in error. The respondent was re-cited under the correct code. D.
