Code Enforcement Board Attorney stated that there needed to be some changes on Code case Joslin the word parked instead of pulled and Code case Mai add "not" before the word return. Seconded by member Greenhalgh and carried by a unanimous roll call. REPORT CASE? UPDATE: None PUBLIC HEARING: City Attorney conducted the swearing in of witnesses. A. CEB 05-04-449 DlTCHFlELDlZORNOW 930 Alameda Dr Longwood, FI 32750 P Code Compliance Inspector Howington reported she cited this property on February 23, 2005, under CC, Chap. 22, 22-33 Boats, RVs, Trailers, and Campers. She revisited the property on February 28, 2005 the property was not in compliance, Notice of Hearing was served on Todd Ditchfield on April 01,2005 by an Officer of the Longwood Police Department. The city request that an Administrative fee of $100.00 be imposed. Code lnspector Howington answered questions from the Board Members Brian Ditchfield and Paula Walsh spoke in reference to this violation. Vice Chair Tolos moved to close the public hearing. Seconded by Member Gr-eer~halgha nd carried by a unanimous voice. Greenhalgh moved, based on the evidence and the testimony, to find the respondents guilty of violating CC, Chap. 22, 22-33 Boats, RVs, Trailers, and Campers. In support of this motion he asked the board find the following facts occurred, two trailers and one boat parked in driveway. He further moved to impose an Administrative fee of $100 to be paid within 30 days from the date of service, and to give the respondents 20 days to come into compliance or a fine of $ 100 a day per violation. Seconded by Vice Chair Tolos and carried by a unanimous roll call. B. CER 05-04-450 NELLlSlNELLlS 431 W. Church Ave Longwood, FL 32750 Code Compiiance inspector Howington reported she cited this property on February 22, 2005 under CC, Chap. 22, 22-33 Boats, RVs, Trailers, and Campers; CC, Chap. 22, 22-32 Commercial Vehicles. She revisited the property on February 28, 2005 the property was not in compliance, Notice of Hearing was served on Dorothy Nellis on April 04, 2005 by an Officer of the Longwood Police Department and served on Nicole Nellis on April 01, 2005 by an Officer of the Longwood Police Department. The city request that an Administrative fee of $1 00.00 be imposed. Code lnspector Howington answered questions from the Board Members. Randal Nellis spoke in reference to this violation. Vice Chair Tolos moved to close the public hearing. Seconded by Member McGarry and carried by a unanimous voice. McGarry moved. based on the evidence and the testimony, to find the respondents guilty of violating CC, Chap. 22, 22-33 Boats, RVs, Trailers, and Campers; CC, Chap. 22, 22-32 Commercial Vehicles. In support of this motion he asked the board find the following facts occurred. Commercial Vehicle and trailer are both parked in the front yard. He further moved to impose an Administrative fee of $1 00 to be paid within 30 days from the date of service; property is in compliance as of meeting day. Seconded by Member Greenhalgh and carried by a unanimous roll call. C. CEB 05-04-451 BARKER 632 E. Seminole Ave Longwood, FI 32750 e Code Compliance lnspector Howington reported she cited this property on February 10, 2005 under CC, Chap. 22, 22-28 lnoperable Vehicle; CC, Chap. 5, 5-164 Posting of Address Numbers and CC, Chap. 10 Occupational Licenses. She revisited the property on February 17, 2005 and the property was still not in compliance. Notice of Hearing was served on Charles Barker on April 4,2005 by an Officer of the Longwood Police Department. The city requests the respondents be found guilty of violating CC, Chap. 22, 22-28 Inoperable Vehicle; CC, Chap. 5, 5-164 Posting of Address Numbers and CC, Chap. 10 Occupational Licenses. The city request that an Administrative fee of $100.00 be imposed. Code lnspector Howington answered questions from the Board Members. Member Tolos nioved to close the public hearing. Seconded by Member McGarry and carried by a unanimous voice vote. Member McGarry moved, based on the evidence and the testimony, to find the respondent guilty of violating of CC, Chap. 22, 22-28 Inoperable Vehicle; CC, Chap. 5, 5-1 64 Posting of Address Numbers and CC, Chap. 10 Occupational Licenses. In support of this motion he asked the board find the Following facts occurred. No house numbers posted, two vehicles parked in driveway, one with flat tire, and the other with an expired tag and a business is being operated with no currant occupational licenses. He further nioved to impose an Administrative fee of $100 and to be paid within 30 days from the date of setvice and to give the respondents 5 days to bring the property into compliance from the date of service of the order or a fine ot $250 per violation per day will be imposed for each and every day of non compliance. Dldg. Code 104.1 .I Permits. She revisited the property on September 21, 2004 the property was not in compliance. Notice of Hearing was served on John Pagano on April 01,2005 by an Officer of the Longwood Police Department. In support of this motion he asked the Board find the following facts occurred, a shed was constructed without first obtaining a permit. He further moved to impose an Administrative fee of $25 and to be paid within 30 days from the date of service and to give the respondents 45 days to bring the property into compliance from the date of service of the order or a fine of $10 per day per violation will be imposed for each and every day of non compliance. Seconded by Vice Chair Tolos and carried by a unanimous voice vote. E. CEB 05-04-453 HOSKINS 510 Granada Way Longwood, FL 32750 This case was withdrawn from the meeting. F. CEB 05-04-454 Mason 1500 S. Grant St Longwood, FI 32750 Code Compliance lnspector Price reported she cited this property on March 05, 2005 under CC, Chap. 22, Sec. 22-28 Inoperable Vehicle. She revisited the property on March 12, 2005 and the property was not in coniplimce. Notice of Hearing was served on James Mason on April 05, 2005 by all Officer of the I-ongwood Police Department. The city requests the respondent be found guilty of violating CC, Chap. 22. Sec. 22-28 Inoperable Vehicle. The city recommends that an Administrative fee of $1 00.00 be imposed. He furthcr moved an Arlrninistrative fee of $50.00 to be paid within 30 days from the date of service. Seconded by Member McGarry and carried by a unanimous voice vote.
